Western Washington University

Seven years were devoted to advancing Western Washington University. I began marketing Alumni Association events, absorbed two other positions, and was eventually promoted to Director of Marketing & Communications for University Advancement.

VSH CPAs

I rebranded the CPA firm Varner Sytsma Herndon to VSH CPAs. This included all new brand and marketing materials, a new website, ad campaign, newsletter and social media launch. I also supported cross-border business events and set the firm up on a Salesforce CRM.

Providence Health & Services

While owning my own virtual marketing firm, one of my major clients was Providence Health Oregon. In addition to being a web producer for their major website overhaul, I produced training materials and a sell-in brochure for the agency of record.

The bulk of my agency time was spent supporting HP clients and product managers. I gained experience in product marketing to consumers, B2B customers and internal partners. This time also helped me gain footing in the tech industry.
